The I.E.S. "Luis de Morales" of Arroyo de la Luz, in order to
stimulate the artistic and literary creativity
of the students, summons the "I Prize "AGUA" (WATER) of Essays and Stories " and the "I Prize
"AGUA" of painting", according
to the following
BASES
1.
Categories: Category A, for students under 15 years old, and Category B,
for students from 15 to 18 years old.
2.
The theme for the I Prize of Essays and Stories
"AGUA" will be the
importance of water for life. The technique will be up to the authors ;
the extent of the works must be from two A4
one side paper sheets (as a
minimum) to five A4 one side sheets (as a maximum).
The
works will be presented in triplicate, perfectly legible (preferably typewritten
or computer written), without the name of the author, that will be substituted
by a pseudonym, written on the
heading of the work. This pseudonym
will be repeted in a sealed envelope. The name and the surname
of the author, the address, the telephone number, the age,
the group, the name of the school the author is registered and the title
of the work must be written inside the envelope,. The pseudonym and the category
will be written on the outside of the envelope. Each author can present two
works as a maximum The Jury will choose six or seven works. These works
will be exhibited during
the 2002-2003 school year in the five European schools taking part in the
T.A.P.A.S. project. The author of
the best work of these six or seven ones will
be rewarded with school equipment. The works made by teachers from these
schools can take part in the
exhibitions.
3.
The theme for the "I Prize "AGUA" of Painting" will be water
and the chosen technique must use water (e.g. inks, watercolours, acrilyc
colours and so on). The size of the works
will be DIN A3 (approximately). The
works must be signed. The name and the surname of the author, the address, the
telephone number, the age, the group, the name of the school the author is registered
and the title of the work will be shown on the backside of the works. Each
author can present two works as a maximum. The Jury will choose six or seven
works. These works will be
exhibited during
the 2002-2003 school year in the five European schools taking part in the
T.A.P.A.S. project. The author of
the best work of these six or seven ones will
be rewarded with painting material. The works made by teachers from these
schools can take part in the
exhibitions.
4.
The verdict of the jury will be
published on 18th April 2002 and the prizes will be handed on the
"School Day" of the I.E.S. "Luis de Morales ", in Arroyo de
la Luz. The rewarded works are allowed to
be published in the School Magazine.
5.
The deadline for the reception of works is 11th April 2002.
6.
The participation in any of these prizes implies the acceptance of the
bases and the verdict of the jury, that it will be unappealable.
