b)      Azorean school

-         Meetings with the teachers and parents about exchanges; actions of students, the project in general

-         Field trip to Sete Cidades with different activities: Water analyses, Bird watching, Paintings/Artistic works of the landscape; Hiking tour with students, Cleaning the site of Sete Cidades

-         Students changed the data of water with waters to graphics

-         Students caught small fish and put them into a jar to conserve them

-         They had to write articles about the trip

-         Email contact, but with less contact (some frustration)

e)      Hungarian school

-         Continuing the water analyses Lake Naplas

-         Continuing the field studies in different habitats

-         Arranging the national afternoons at school: Two occasions: Italy – Spain afternoon, German – Portuguese afternoon. It was a big party for the younger students. The older students arranged these afternoons. It was about culture, special foods, games, cultural quiz, dancing activities and songs. About 60 students took part in the afternoons.

-         Arranging an art exhibition. Some more pictures of other schools situated at Lake Naplas district were also participated in this exhibition. Budapest school announced these other schools.

-         Student exchange programme with Germany

 

2. Talking about TAPAS newspaper 2 (15^th October, 2003)

   German idea: Asking the prison print house in Bruchsal for printing the 2nd newspaper and the brochure. This could be much more cheaper

-         Hungarian suggestion: Reducing the newspaper to 12 pages, not 16 pages

5. Final meeting in Hungary

 

-         Summer camp is starting on Thursday 1st July

It is finishing on Friday 10^th July.

From 1^st to 2^nd we stay in Budapest.

From 3^rd to 7^th July, a trip to river Danube.

Come back to Budapest by train on 7^th at night.

We stay in Budapest on 8^th.

Final day is 9^th.

Maximum 10 people (teachers and students)

Minimum age for students is 15.

Basic equipment: sleeping bags, a tent for two, mattress.

100 € per person, but we pay a little amount.

Erzsebet is responsible for application form.
