Hello Friends, we are writing to tell you what has happened to us since our last letter.

The last thing that we did together was that we watched Harry Potter in the cinema. We didn't like it very much.

Before the film we had gone to a statue park in October. We had seen statues of Lenin and of the socialism. The weather had been very cold, so we had just spent a little time here. But  not everybody had been in the park. The other part of the class had been at lake Naplas. It's an artificial fishing lake. But we hadn't fished there, we had been surveying different  things.

Most people of the class like snowballing very much. On the first day, when the snow fell down the whole city was a huge traffic jam. Both teachers and students were late from school. Most of the lessons weren't held. In these "breaks" almost everybody went to the schoolyard to snowballing. At the end of the day everybody was wet and felt cold.

These things have happened to us. And what about you? please write something about what have you done together. Anyway we wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Bye, class 8/C.   Christmas 2001

Osztálytermünket most már átjárja közösségünk levegője.

Kíváncsian várjuk a leveleteket

8.C

Hello, Friends

We have just started the new school-year and now we are in the 8.C class. Before the summer vacation our class had gone to a summer camp. We went to a small settlement called Zalaszántó. The house we stayed in was not glazed and the gas and the electricity was not wired in. It was similar to a wild camp. We visited the largest buddish sanctuary in Europe called stupa. The camp was great and I think most of us enjoyed it.

In the new school year we took already a two-day trip to Döbrönte at the transdanubian area of Hungary. Here we visited the ruin of an ancient castle. Afterwards we visited a world-renowned china-ware manufacturing plant in Herend. After that we have taken a guided tour at the monastery in Pannonhalma what is a part of the World Heritage.

The health department of Budapest’s Lord Mayor’s Office shall soon organise a non-drug day and our school will participate there. We expect to have a number of interesting lectures, presentations, and free time programmes against drugs and for healthy way of life.

Well, this was happened to us this summer. A few of us have already sent several e-mails to you so we can get to know each other better.

Good bye for now

The 8.C class
